Roasted Duck = Onn Kee

Alright, haven't written any food review for a long time, and since it's Chinese New Year, let me introduce something simple, cheap, but NICE~!

Roasted Duck for Chinese New Year

Roasted duck is one of the most popular dishes during Chinese New Year, and Onn Kee at Taman Petaling, Kepong is definitely one of the best places to get it.

Look at the number of people queuing up for the duck. No other description is required.

The meat for roasted duck is normally stiff, not easy to bite, but not those from Onn Kee. The meat is really tender, and the skin is mmm mmm mmm crunchy.

And when you think roasted duck alone is boring, they serve good Char Siew (BBQ pork) as well.

They have a variety of soups as well. Check out the cucumber soup.

Irresistible duck...

WeiWei ignores the camera....

The prices are quite reasonable. Ala carte with rice is around RM 4 to RM 5. Whole duck is RM 40, half duck is RM 20.

Prices for soups are also reasonable. Each bowl is around RM 3 to RM 5, except the coconut chicken soup which is RM 6.
