Got a call from Yudi (友弟) the other day, told me that she needed a chinese drum drummer for her new song. It was for the Sichuan Earthquake Charity Performance, and in memory of one of the great local poets - You Chuan (游川). I couldn't resist but to say yes.

The night was good, a lot of artists and audiences turned up to support. The event managed to gather more than RM 1 mil, no kidding. And I was quite happy that I can still be a part of it (even though I have "retired"). The feeling was really good, that I can still play once in a while, not for the money, but for something meaningful (to me and to other people). It's a way to "soften" my life from the "rigid" working life.

Guess what, my dad did his part also. He performed in a Sichuan and Myammar charity event organized by KL Dance Association (KLDA) and Olympic Council of Malaysia (OCM) at Wisma OCM. That old man was so proud that his pictures got published in The Star and other website. Hahaha...

Really glad to lend a helping hand. Hope everything will get better for the Myammar and Sichuan victims. Ganbatte~!!
